Volunteer with us

Volunteering is your chance to make a positive contribution to your local area - to learn new skills, make new friends and share or improve your knowledge of nature and conservation in Sussex.

We have a range of opportunities available in areas such as practical conservation, supporting education groups / events and using specific skills to help us make a difference. Our opportunities are for regular, rather than one off volunteers. Current opportunities can be seen in the Volunteer Vacancies section below - please note that we can only accept applications for specific volunteer roles.

Applications from new volunteers are always welcome, however recruitment is paused during December + January and July + August.

Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions about volunteering.
