Volunteer with us

Volunteering is your chance to make a positive contribution to your local area - to learn new skills, make new friends and share or improve your knowledge of nature and conservation in Sussex.

We have a range of opportunities available such as practical conservation, supporting education groups or events and using specific skills to help us make a difference. Our opportunities are for regular, rather than one off, volunteers - but this doesn't mean that you need to make a weekly commitment.

Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions about volunteering.

If you'd like to get in touch about any aspect of volunteering, please email: [email protected]

For enquiries specifically about volunteering at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve please email: [email protected]

Please note that it is currently taking 3-4 weeks to place a volunteer following initial application.
