Community Projects

Many surveys have recently highlighted a disconnection with nature in this country. Time spent playing outdoors has halved in a generation and only one in ten children regularly play in wild spaces.

We believe that connecting with nature should be a really important part of everybody's life, whatever their age. A healthy environment relies on people who care. People who spend time in natural spaces as children grow into adults who care more about environmental issues and seek out natural spaces.

That's why we are working in local communities all across Sussex to help engage with and re-connect people with nature through our nature-based community projects.
