Wilder Ouse is firmly focused on working with all farmers interested in nature-based farming solutions. Regenerative agricultural aims to mimic the natural processes to maintain sustainable food/fibre production whilst also continuing to improve the environment in which it depends, such as soil health.

The five principles are:

• 1) Don’t disturb the soil
• 2) Keep the soil surface covered
• 3) Keep living roots in the soil
• 4) Grow a diverse range of crops
• 5) Bring grazing animals back to the land, initiate mob grazing

Looking at how existing habitats on the farm can be enhanced, expanded and link up across the land holding and the wider landscape.
