Flatropers Wood
A peaceful mixed woodland of great variety with streams and an open heathy area
The far east of the county around the village of Beckley is one of the quietest and well wooded parts of Sussex. It’s here you can find Flatropers Wood, just over 37 hectares of mixed woodland, sunny open paths and rides, and ponds and streams. The woodland has been worked over the years and its composition reflects this history.
Flatropers Wood Nature Reserve is free to visit, but we are only able to care for Flatropers Wood with the support we receive from our members. Please consider becoming a member or making a donation today.
