A constituency is the specific geographical area that is represented by each MP in the House of Commons. It's the MP's 'patch' and everyone living in it is their constituent.

Constituency boundaries have recently changed, so you might find yourself in a different constituency to the last time you voted. In Sussex, there are now 17 constituencies, so we will have 17 MPs. You can find your constituency here.
