MP responses
Sussex Wildlife Trust wrote to all the Sussex MPs on 29 September 2022 asking them to Defend Nature and meet with us. You can read what we said here.
Although some of our concerns have been addressed, there are still major issues with what the government is proposing, especially the Retained EU Law (REUL) Bill. We are continuing to meet with MPs to highlight our concerns about the government’s direction on the environment and the impact of the REUL Bill.
We are keeping a log of which MPs have responded to us and will update this weekly (last update 8/0/22). We will also keep trying with MPs we have not heard from yet.
