Home Education: Wild about Photography – Rye Harbour (01/05/25) Thursday, 1st May 2025 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Course Tutor: Aimi Rifat – Wilder Learning and communities Officer, Rye Harbour Discovery Centre and Photographer Jonathan Lamb
Learn about photography and discover how the camera has developed and changed over time. Discover how we first captured pictures by taking part in a life size camera obscura and explore the development of the camera by using a 3D printed old fashioned view camera. We will explore how the world is viewed differently depending on your perspective and how this can be recorded through photography. Looking at the work of photographer Fay Godwin we will explore how she recorded the Nature Reserve through her camera lens and you will record the Nature reserve through your own lens.
