Family Event: Beach School - Rye Harbour (28/09/2024)

Take part in our fun Beach School at Rye Harbour nature reserve! Join Alice on a walk from the Discovery Centre to the shore, learning about Rye Harbour nature reserve and its wildlife on the way. She’ll lead you through various activities, such as a scavenger hunt, pebble pictures, making giant bubbles, kite-making, creating rock pools and identifying seashells and eggcases.

If the weather is too wet, we’ll offer activities indoors, like beach-themed crafts and games and identifying coastal creatures.

Suitable for children aged 5 to 11 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All participants need to buy a ticket, dates of birth are needed for child tickets.

Price doesn’t include refreshments. Our Lime Kiln café at the Centre will be open from 10am to 4pm for refreshments and lunch.
