Family Event: Family Beach Clean (16/08/2024) Friday, 16th August 2024 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Leader: Alice Oakley
Have fun and help us protect our sea life! Join us as we set out from Rye Harbour Discovery Centre for a litter pick and treasure hunt on the nature reserve. We'll search for shells, mermaids’ purses and tiny treasures on the shingle shore, and try to identify our finds.
Then we’ll return to the Discovery Centre for a drink and a sweet treat. If the weather is too wet, we’ll offer activities indoors, like junk modelling or nature-themed games.
Suitable for children aged 5 to 11 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note that all participants need to buy a ticket.
If you have any questions, or to request if siblings can attend, contact us on: [email protected]
Price includes a drink and a sweet treat, please tell us about any dietary needs on booking.
