Family Event: Guided Play Trail (12/08/2024)

Take part in our fun Play Trail at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve! Join Alice on a walk to the beach where she’ll lead you through nature-based activities, including a scavenger hunt, a pebble picture and beach games with shells.

Then you’ll return to the Discovery Centre for a drink and a sweet treat. If the weather is too wet, we’ll offer activities indoors, like beach-themed crafts, identifying coastal creatures or nature-themed games.

Suitable for children aged 5 to 11 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Please be aware that all attendees need to purchase a ticket.

Location: Meet at Rye Harbour Discovery Centre, Rye Harbour, TN31 7FW

Public Transport: The 313 Stagecoach bus travels from Northiam to Rye train station and on to Rye Harbour village.

What to bring: Please wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear, and sun protection, for the weather conditions and the beach. Bring a drink too.
