Each week will have a different theme based in a special forest school site. Children will learn to become confident in an outdoor setting, learn basic woodcraft skills and explore their natural surroundings with storytelling, games and lots of outdoor activities. It’ll provide a great opportunity for you and your little ones to have fun in the natural environment and will aim to encourage an early interest in wildlife. Drink, snack and plenty of mud provided!
NEW NATURE TOTS GROUP GUIDELINES ARE IN PLACE IN RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS
As you are aware, the Coronavirus pandemic means that we have to be extremely careful about taking care of the health and wellbeing of all staff, volunteers and participants at our events. We will provide a bottle of sanitiser so all attendees (staff, volunteers, parents and children) must thoroughly sanitise their hands before and after the session, and during as required. We have restricted numbers of attendees and will facilitate activities in order that separate households can maintain social distancing as much as is practically possible, while enjoying their time with us. However, the responsibility will remain with the attending adult to take on the management of distancing of themselves and their children as follows:
- Parent manages 2m distancing of themselves from adults and children (other than their own) at all times.
- Parent manages 2m distancing of their children from other adults (unless adult agrees and is wearing a face mask, e.g. staff member demonstrating tool use)
- Parent encourages 1m+ distancing between their child and other children, minimising mixing as much as is practically possible. If children move within 1m of each other, they will be sensitively encouraged to move apart.
We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the group if they do not comply with our terms and conditions so we ask that you please read the following information carefully BEFORE booking
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear outdoor clothing and walking boots/wellingtons.
We apologise that this location has extremely limited wheelchair access.
Sorry, no dogs allowed at Nature Tots sessions
