There is huge pressure for new housing right across Sussex. We don’t dispute that people need homes but so too do our birds, mammals, wildflowers and insects.
New homes should be inspiring and beautiful places to live, where people and nature thrive together. To achieve this, we need a new approach that puts the natural environment at the heart of development and planning.
We want every new development to give back more to nature than it takes away – securing a real and measurable ‘net gain’ for wildlife and the environment.
