The 'Beast from the East' arrived this week, bringing snow and freezing temperatures to Sussex. Here is a taste of the wintery conditions on our nature reserves.

Icy winds and snow didn't stop Rye Harbour's Wednesday Walk

Woods Mill

Deep snow was lying at the Stanmer Park garden in Brighton.

But our work still goes on, here is the Gatwick Greenspace team working on some dormouse boxes.

If you have taken any snowy photos on our nature reserves, we'd love to see them. Please post them on our Facebook Page.

Interesting photos and comment. Please do not extend any welcome to the ‘Beast from the East.’ It has created more than enough trouble?
