Health Walks

Health Walks are free, short, friendly walks lasting no longer than an hour. Anyone can join one, but they're specifically designed to encourage those that would benefit from more exercise to give walking a go.

We lead Health Walks at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve EVERY Wednesday morning. Starting 10.15am to coincide with the buses, meeting at the Rye Harbour toilets. Health Walks provide a pleasant way to improve health and well-being for those who are getting little or no exercise, recovering from illness or injury, or lacking in confidence. Having said that, the majority of walkers stay because they enjoy the social aspects of taking part and meeting new people!

There are lots of Health Walks in East Sussex organised by The Conservation Volunteers - click here for details - and there is a Facebook page too.

This project would not have been possible without support and encouragement from the following: East Sussex County Council
National Health Service: Sussex
Walking for Health (The Ramblers and Macmillan Cancer Support)
