Sussex is blessed with a magnificent coastline and coastal waters, which contain a really special, fascinating range of marine wildlife. In order to celebrate this, the marine team at Sussex Wildlife Trust, in collaboration with Sussex Underwater, is delighted to announce a Marine Photography competition for 2024.

We are looking for photos that highlight what is glorious about our Sussex marine wildlife, from under the sea and in the intertidal zone.

The winner will receive £100 plus a Sussex Wildlife Trust Teemill t-shirt and the runner up will receive a Teemill t-shirt. Winning images will be promoted across the various Sussex Wildlife Trust and Sussex Underwater media channels and in Wildlife magazine.

Entries must have a marine subject matter and have been taken in the Sussex seas or coastline. We are looking for marine, underwater, or intertidal wildlife as a subject matter, rather than coastal views or sea birds.

We welcome entries from everyone, whether you’re new to photography or a seasoned professional.

Look out for the entry form on our website – the deadline for submissions is 23 June 2024. The winners will be announced in August 2024.
