Marine Photo Competition 2025
Sussex Wildlife Trust is excited to announce the 2025 marine photography competition, hosted in collaboration with Sussex Underwater.

The competition is open to all and we are keen to receive entries from both under the water and in the intertidal zone. Submissions must have been taken in the Sussex seas or coastline.
We are looking for marine, underwater, or intertidal wildlife as subject matter. Sorry, no coastal views or sea birds! (Please see full competition terms and conditions).
Finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges from Sussex Underwater and Sussex Wildlife Trust, plus our guest judge, professional marine photographer Paul Naylor. We will also have a people's winner and runner up, chosen through a public vote.
What could I win?
First place will be awarded a £100 cash prize; first place from the people’s choice will be awarded a £50 cash prize.
Both runners up will win a copy of the newly released book ‘Snorkelling Britain’ by Emma and Gordon Taylor.
The winning images will also be featured in Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Wildlife magazine, monthly enews and on our website and social media channels.
