Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is one of the largest and most important wildlife sites in England, set in an exceptional coastal and wetland landscape and home to more than 4,355 species of plants and animals including 300 that are rare or endangered. With a mosaic of different habitats, it is not surprising that there is such a wealth of wildlife on the nature reserve.
We are proud to welcome visitors to the stunning Rye Harbour Discovery Centre, a state-of-the-art hub for exploring and learning about the wonderful wildlife at the nature reserve. Our accessible centre is open daily and also includes displays describing the history, wildlife and landscape of the area.
All this is only possible with support from people in Sussex. Donate now and help support our work at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.
