Sussex Wildlife Trust continues our successful partnership with Manor Royal BID
Over the past five years we have formed a strong partnership with the Manor Royal Business Improvement District at the award winning Crawter’s Brook People’s Park. Thanks to the direct support from business volunteers, our working partnership has helped to transform this once neglected, under-valued patch of land into a unique haven for wildlife and people in the heart of a lively business district.
We are excited to be developing our successful partnership with the Manor Royal Business Improvement District to help companies across Manor Royal engage with nature, and continue to create a business district where the business community and wildlife can thrive together.
As our partnership continues to flourish we can involve more local businesses with nature, and its health and wellbeing benefits. Manor Royal companies can now benefit from a dedicated free volunteering programme at Gatwick Woodlands and at Crawter’s Brook, as well as opportunities to take part in a Digital Detox session where staff can take a step away from technology and the daily grind with a bespoke teambuilding day. We also work with the BID maintenance team to help create a wilder business district, and are advising on the Manor Royal Trail Project where they will be creating a network of micro-parks to create a greener business district for both people and wildlife.
