Sussex Flow Initiative’s success was due to individuals, groups and organisations working together on shared vision of a resilient landscape for wildlife and people.

Sussex Flow Initiative was partnership between the Woodland Trust, Sussex Wildlife Trust and the Environment Agency, with funding support from Lewes District Council. This strong partnership continues and forms the foundation of the work being delivered by the Wilder Ouse project, which started in 2023.

Landowners and Farmers were integral to the work of Sussex Flow Initiative and the wider work of the Trust, and we were fortunate to have worked with many inspiring, passionate individuals across the catchment.
