Guide in a Hide with the Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (29.06.25) Sunday, 29th June 2025 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Led by friendly volunteer guides from the Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve

*Please note this day will now run from 10am - 1pm (not the earlier advertised time of 3pm)*

This month, more guides will be on hand to show you the birds at more parts of the nature reserve:

  • We'll be outside the Discovery Centre to point you in the right direction of the bird hides.
  • Find us at Gooders bird hide, which is just under half a mile (700m) walk towards the sea from Rye Harbour car park, past the Discovery Centre, and just off the path to the right.
  • We'll also be at the Parkes and Denny hides, great spots to visit, as there's plenty of nesting going on: see our Nature Reserve Map

This event is suitable for adults and children, and ideal for beginners. Binoculars, telescopes and spotter sheets will be available for you to use.

The Friends contribute much to the work of the nature reserve, to find out more, visit the Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve website.
