What will I need for the course?

This is an outdoor course on shingle, sand and rockpool. Be prepared to get your feet wet.

A simple to complete workbook should be submitted within six months of the course start date. (Please see booking Terms & Conditions).

On successful completion of the course you will be awarded an AIM Qualifications certificate.

Beach conditions can be extremely variable from beach to beach and season to season. Please ensure you pack plenty of layers and protection for an exposed environment and check the weather forecast. This is an outdoor course on shingle, sand and rockpool. Be prepared to get your feet wet.

• Lunch and drinks
• A cup
• Pen/pencil and paper
• Plenty of warm clothes - it can be cold on the beach in the afternoon when a sea breeze starts
• Sun Cream / full waterproofs including trousers (check weather forecast)
• A bag to carry your kit
• Wellies or walking boots. Something to paddle in, but please don’t wear flip flops for the course.
• A camera

We will be provide:
