Do you enjoy being outdoors? Have a keen interest in nature? Want to get hands-on with conservation?
Then why not join Youth Rangers? If you are 16 to 25 years, interested in wildlife and would like to gain skills in land-based work, this group is for you.
What we do
As part of the Gatwick Greenspace Partnership, Youth Rangers carry out conservation work at Tilgate Park. We provide a range of activities and conservation tasks to get involved with, including species identification, habitat management, removing invasive non-native species, wildlife gardening, safe use and maintenance of hand tools, green woodworking and bushcraft skills.
Where and when: We meet on Wednesdays twice a month during term time at Tilgate Park, from 10am to 2pm. Upcoming bookable sessions on Wednesdays 2025:
