Led by volunteer guides from the Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve
Drop in to the Gooders bird hide, just off the path between the car park and the sea. Friendly volunteer guides will be on hand through the day to show you the birds.
This event is suitable for adults and children, and ideal for beginners. Binoculars, telescopes and spotter sheets will be available for you to use.

Free event: No need to book. Donations to the Friends of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve are welcome.
Location: Just under half a mile (700m) walk towards the sea from Rye Harbour car park, past the Discovery Centre. See our website for how to find us.
Public Transport: The 313 Stagecoach bus travels from Northiam to Rye train station and on to Rye Harbour village.
Accessibility: The route to Gooders bird hide is easy for wheelchairs, and the hide is fully accessible.
Rye Harbour Discovery Centre is a wheelchair-friendly venue, with a step-free entrance ramp. Toilet facilities include two that are wheelchair accessible.
