Youth Rangers - Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (16/11/24) Saturday, 16th November 2024 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Leaders: Alice Oakley and Aimi Rifat

Do you enjoy being outdoors? Have a keen interest in nature? Are you looking for a chance to get some voluntary experience in the environmental sector?

Why not join Youth Rangers? If you are 16 to 25 years, interested in wildlife and would like to gain skills in land-based work, this group is for you.

What we do

Youth Rangers carry out conservation work at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. We provide a broad range of activities and conservation tasks to get involved with, including species identification, habitat management, removing invasive non-native species, beach cleans, safe use and maintenance of hand tools, green woodworking and bushcraft skills.

Where and when: We meet on Saturdays, twice a month during term time at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, from 10am to 2pm. You'll need to attend at least one of these sessions a month.
Upcoming Saturday 2024 session dates:
16 November
30 November
16 December

Get in touch: To book a taster session, or to find out more, contact Alice Oakley, Volunteer Coordinator, via email:
