Birds at Wadhurst Park (30/08/24) Friday, 30th August 2024 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Leader: James Duncan
Join us at Wadhurst Park to observe some of the bird species that call the park home, but perhaps also some that are on the move. As our own summer visitors gradually disappear, birds that spend the summer months at more northerly latitudes are passing through. Numerous warblers, chats and flycatchers often arrive on masse, on route to the warmer climes of Africa. Swallows and house martins gather prior to heading south and wader migration really steps up a gear. We'll keep our eyes peeled for all these and more.
