Come and take part in a beach clean this National Marine Week!
Removing litter from the beach is taking direct action to protect our marine and coastal life.
Sussex Wildlife Trust will provide all necessary equipment.
This is a free event, open to all ages.
Please note: This is not a drop off event. All under 18s MUST be accompanied by an adult who must also book a place.
There is a rock pooling event in the afternoon – if you would like to join that too, you must book a place here.
Location: Rottingdean Beach
Meet outside Molly’s At The Beach Café, BN2 7AZ

Paid car park available at Marine Cliffs Car Park, BN2 7HQ
What to bring: Shoes suitable for the beach (sturdy with good grip, closed toes – absolutely no open toed shoes!), clothes suitable for the weather, hat, sun cream, water.
Public Transport: Buses 12, 14, 27, and 76 service the area
Accessibility:
Rottingdean Beach is accessed by the Undercliff Walk, which is accessible by wheelchair down a slope via High Street. The beach is then accessed by steps down from the Undercliff Walk.
There are accessible toilets next to Molly’s At The Beach Café.
Rottingdean Beach is a shingle beach which is sometimes unstable, therefore a good level of fitness is required.
