Seasearch Training Day

This event is being led by Mulberry Marine Experiences and places must be booked directly with them

Join us for a Seasearch training day hosted by Mulberry Marine Experiences. Participants will be able to join two surveys with a Seasearch tutor in order to fulfil the tutor-led dives necessary to complete the Seasearch Observer course.

All surveys will be undertaken as snorkel only - there is no option for scuba diving on this occasion. Please contact Mulberry Marine Experience if you would like to ask about eligibility or experience.

Please note: this event is for volunteers who have recently completed a Seasearch Observer course and need to undertake their tutor dives. Please only book a place if you have been on an Observer course and have not already completed your tutor dives as places are limited.

Participants must provide their own equipment for snorkeling or arrange hire. Please enquire at time of booking if you would like to hire any gear for this event. It is recommended that you bring an underwater camera if you have one; a dive torch may also be useful.

Please also remember to bring your Seasearch certification booklet in order to have it signed off!

Location - Selsey

Cost: £20 per person

Timetable (approx - TBC):

10:30: Meet at Selsey Lifeboat Station for briefing

11:30: Surveys commence

12:30: Break for lunch / travel to afternoon location

14:00: Meet at afternoon survey location (Selsey - exact location TBC)

14:30: Surveys commence

15:30: Gather for debrief and form-filling
