Tutor:  Polly Bennett

Join artist Polly Bennett in a pigment making workshop using earth and rock from Rye to create artist's earth pigments.

On the workshop you will learn how to grind and purify earth into pigment to turn into watercolour paint. The mineral used will be sourced from the local area, celebrating a sense of place and environmentally-friendly practices.

Participants will leave the workshop with purified pigment that they can continue to purify at home, watercolour paint, a hand painted colour wheel and an information handout.

Tea and coffee will be provided.

Please bring a glass jar with lid along with you.
