The Deneway, Sussex Wildlife Trust's youth-led reserve

Learn all about green woodworking and create your own woodcrafts to take home with our resident experts at Deneway Nature Reserve in Brighton. This is an opportunity to learn new practical skills using different tools, identify tree species, and enjoy nature in a creative way. All equipment will be provided, and no prior experience is required.

A break and refreshments will be provided. Wear suitable footwear and warm clothing.

Free event for 16 to 25 year olds, but booking essential.

This is part of Sussex Youth in Nature, an events programme for young people from Sussex Wildlife Trust. These are free and accessible events and workshops for 16-25 year olds based at various locations across Sussex. They offer the opportunity to learn more about nature through craft, conservation, and species identification.
