Lost Words Nature Writing Celebration - Rye Harbour Discovery Centre (23/09/23)

If you would like to hear a collection of nature writing, celebrating the species found on Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and inspired by Robert Macfarlane’s Lost Words then book a free ticket and come along.

The afternoon will fall into two halves with a break for tea and cake. There will be a range of writing including acrostic poetry, letters and Haikus all generated at the Lost Words Rye Harbour workshops. Workshop participants will be there to read their work and there will be plenty of time to talk about the reserve’s special species and to talk about the Lost Words books and the importance of keeping ‘nature vocabulary’ in use.

Nature needs a voice and some of those voices will be heard on 23rd September
