Crawley - Tilgate Park Wildlife Watch (Age 5-11) - Saturdays (09/09/2023)

2nd Saturday of the month with Tamara - 9 September, 7 October, 11 November & 9 December 2023 (4 sessions)

Suitable for children aged 5-11 years. ADULTS FREE OF CHARGE

Bring your children along to explore the natural world. This will involve getting to know the forest school site exploring Tilgate's habitats and of course more fire and bushcraft activities.

Wildlife watch clubs are based on Forest School principles, providing a wonderful opportunity for children aged 5 to 11 to experience and learn from nature. They will be encouraged to tackle hands-on outdoor activities, work co-operatively with others, and have an opportunity to gain a sense of achievement whilst developing social skills and boosting confidence.

Sessions are themed around the changing seasons and discovering how to help wildlife thrive.

Meet outside the Walled Garden Cafe, Tilgate Park, Titmus Drive, Tilgate, Crawley, RH10 5PQ, which is a ten minute walk from the forest school site. Free parking available, directions will be sent upon booking.

We are working within current COVID Government guidelines and will update our practices accordingly, in response to any changes in this advice. All our activities are fully risk assessed and a copy is available on request. If, under these guidelines, it is necessary for us to cancel the event, we will contact you to reschedule or refund as appropriate.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy boots/wellingtons.
