The course will provide an introduction to the iconic Hazel Dormouse, covering its ecology, distribution and habitat preferences, along with survey and monitoring techniques. There will be a classroom component along with a field session to apply some of the survey techniques discussed.

No previous knowledge is required - the course is suitable for those with a general interest and those who wish to become more involved with Hazel Dormouse survey and monitoring.
