Seasearch Training Surveys (29/07/23)

This event is being led by Mulberry Marine Experiences and places must be booked directly with them

Join us for a Seasearch training day hosted by Mulberry Marine Experiences. Participants will be able to join two surveys with a Seasearch tutor in order to fulfil the tutor-led dives necessary to complete the Seasearch Observer course.

Participants will have the option to choose to join either a shore dive or shore snorkel in the morning; the whole group will then snorkel in the afternoon. Please see the MME website for information on eligibility / requirements.

Please note: this event is aimed at volunteers who have recently completed a Seasearch Observer course and need to undertake their tutor dives. Please only book a place if you have been on an Observer course and have not already completed your tutor dives as places are limited.

Participants must provide their own equipment for diving / snorkelling or arrange hire. Dive equipment may be hired from MME but they will be unable to hire snorkelling gear (mask, fins, exposure suit) for this event. It is recommended that you bring an underwater camera if you have one; a dive torch may also be useful.

Please also remember to bring your Seasearch certification booklet in order to have it signed off!

Cost: £20 per person

Timetable:

10:30: Meet at Selsey Lifeboat Station for briefing
11:00: Dives commence

12:00: Break for lunch / travel to Aldwick for PM session

14:30: Meet at Aldwick beach for briefing

15:00: Dives commence
16:00: Gather for debrief and form-filling
