Filsham Reedbed (SSSI) lies between Bexhill and Hastings and has been managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust since the 1970s. It’s reed beds and wetland are a vitally important habitat, supporting countless birds, over a thousand invertebrate species and a great diversity of plants. The reserve comprises flower rich margins, reed-fen and numerous areas of scrub, and lies on an important migration route. Join us for a circular walk of approximately 4km, exploring the reserve to learn about the huge variety of wildlife found there in spring. Led by James Duncan.

Booking for members events

If you would like to book for any of these events, please email [email protected] stating the name and time of the event you would like to book, the number and names of members attending, and your membership number. You can also book by phoning 01273 497533, but email is preferable due to staff working from home. Please note that places are limited and bookings will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis. Your booking will be confirmed to you by email.

Refreshments will be provided at most events, but please note you will need to bring your own cup/mug.
