Our monthly group for teenagers interested in finding out more about wildlife, taking part in practical conservation or those wanting to volunteer for their DofE awards.
This morning we will take part in a SongMaps workshop exploring how climate change and rising seas are affecting Rye. These changes will be recorded using poetry, music and the visual arts informed by science.
In the afternoon, to celebrate Dawn Chorus Day, we will be looking out for newly hatched chicks and summer visitors to the reserve, listening and learning about bird calls and song. Hot chocolate will be on hand. Bring a packed lunch.
Suitable for 12 - 16 year olds. Parents do not accompany.
