Birds at Seaford Head - Seaford (13/10/22) Thursday, 13th October 2022 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Leader: James Duncan

Seaford Head Nature Reserve is undoubtedly one of the best spots to enjoy spectacular views of both the Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Valley. Join us to observe some of the bird species that call the reserve home, but also those that are on the move. As our own summer visitors gradually disappear, birds that spend the summer months at more northerly latitudes are passing through. Numerous warblers, chats and flycatchers often arrive on our coasts, on route to the warmer climes of Africa. Swallows and house martins gather prior to heading south and wader migration really steps up a gear. We'll keep our eyes peeled for all these and more. 3km walk with some slopes.

Meet in the car park next to South Hill Barn (Grid ref: TV505980, nearest postcode BN25 4JQ). What 3 Words location - amaze.galloping.project
