Auks and Orcas: A Journey around the British Isles talk (22/09/22)

Join Michael Blencowe on a virtual cruise from Portsmouth for a wildlife expedition around the British Isles. We'll cruise to some of Britain's wildest islands - Tresco, Fair Isle, St Kilda, Rathlin, Great Saltee, Staffa, the Isle of May and Bass Rock - and search for the incredible wildlife that lives there. From stick insects to Killer Whales, from golden Hares to giant Wrens - with a supporting cast of thousands of Puffins, Gannets and other seabirds. Hear about the lives, folklore and future of these amazing animals.

The talk will be in the main hall of the Victoria Baptist Church, Eldon Road, Eastbourne, BN21 1UE, at 7.30pm, where there is a large, free, car park (it will not be recorded or broadcast online).Please note that there is a major change and that you must now book your ticket by registering for the talk through Eventbrite using the link, below. Registration is free but we will still charge on the door (we do have to pay for speakers and the hire of the hall!).

Booking will close at 12.30 on the day of the talk, tickets will not be available after that time.

Please also note that entry is by cash only, we do not have access to any electronic payment system: £3 for SWT Members and £4 for Non-Members. Refreshments - £1.
