Guided Wildlife Walk at Old Lodge (03/08/22) Wednesday, 3rd August 2022 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM

SORRY, FULLY BOOKED

Old Lodge lies within the heart of the Ashdown Forest. It comprises a wide open landscape of heather and grassland, dotted with gorse, birch, oak and scots pine. It sits higher than the surrounding West Sussex heaths, giving it a cooler, damper climate more representative of northern upland moors. Join us for a circular walk of approximately 4km looking for specialist heathland birds & dragonflies, butterflies, reptiles and other wildlife.

Meet in the Old Lodge nature reserve car park off the B2026 north of Duddleswell. Nearest postcode TN22 3JD.

PLEASE NOTE: Meet in the car park clearly marked ‘Sussex Wildlife Trust’ (a lane which is signposted ‘Old Lodge’ leads to a private farm)

Booking essential as places are limited. To book please email [email protected]

This event will be run on a Donations basis.
