Welcome to the Woods!

I’m a survivor! Learn some basic bushcraft skills to become a woodland survivor. Use hand tools to make models from green wood and practice safe fire lighting to make your own hot chocolate.

Learn about the animals that live in the woods and what they need to survive by playing games amongst the trees. Use natural materials to make mini shelters and create tree faces with clay to decorate the forest.

Meet in the classroom at Woods Mill, Henfield, West Sussex, BN5 9SD.

Please ensure children bring a packed lunch, drink and extra snacks, and wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear and sun protection for the weather conditions.

Suitable for children aged 6-11 years. Parents/carers do not accompany children.

Not suitable for wheelchair users or those with compromised mobility.

Toilets available on site.
