Creative Writing Workshop

With Nic Wilson and Louise Kenward

Do you enjoy watching nature out of the window, in the garden or in the local landscape? Perhaps you’d like to share your interest with others and explore your own creative voice?

This online creative nature writing workshop is for anyone interested in developing their writing on the natural world. We’ll look at different ways to connect with wildlife and landscape, how and where to find inspiration, and what form your writing might take. The workshop will include short guided writing exercises that could be developed into longer pieces afterwards. All you need is pen and paper (or a computer). One or two photos of animals, plants or landscapes that have meaning for you and a natural object (feather, flower, piece of bark, etc.) would be helpful, but these are not necessary to complete the writing tasks.

No experience necessary. Everyone welcome.

This is a free event but you will need to register to attend. Upon registration you will be sent a link to join the event on 10 May 2022. This link will also be in reminder emails you'll receive one day and one hour before the event.
