Birds at Seaford Head, Seaford - (27/04/2022) Wednesday, 27th April 2022 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Leader: James Duncan

Seaford Head is one of the best spots to enjoy spectacular views of both the Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Valley. Join us in spring to observe some of the bird species that call the reserve home, but also those that are racing back to their breeding grounds, having wintered in milder regions. Spring typically has a real sense of urgency, birds eager to either claim the best territory or find the best mate. This can be a good time of year to find rarer birds amongst the more common migrants, when southerly winds push some species too far north. We'll also keep our eyes peeled for the wealth of other creatures that inhabit this wonderful chalk downland. 4km walk with some slopes.

Meet in the car park next to South Hill Barn (Grid ref: TV505980, nearest postcode BN25 4JQ).

No booking required, just turn up.
