Crawley - Tilgate Park Nature Tots (03/03/2022) Thursday, 3rd March 2022 10:00 AM -

Thursdays - 3rd March to 7th April (6 sessions) - with Tamara

10am to 12 noon

Nature Tots is for 3 - 5 year olds with accompanying adults. ADULTS FREE OF CHARGE

Bring your little ones along to help them explore the natural world. This will involve getting to know the forest school site and the fire circle, woodland activities, stories and lots more!

Each week will have a different theme which will be based in a special forest school site with a fire circle as a central focus for each session. Children will learn to become confident in the woodland setting, learn basic skills, explore their natural surroundings, including storytelling and woodland activities. It’ll provide a great opportunity for you and your little ones to have fun in the natural environment and will aim to encourage an early interest in wildlife.

Meet outside the Walled Garden Cafe, Tilgate Park, Titmus Drive, Tilgate, Crawley, RH10 5PQ, which is a ten minute walk from the forest school site. Free parking available, directions will be sent upon booking.

This is what one of the mums had to say about the group...

‘Sam’s been really enjoying Nature Tots. He looks forward to Thursday all week. There’s a really nice balance of activities.

I’ve been really impressed at how quickly the children have picked up the rules that keep them safe and able to have fun at the same time. Sam tells everyone who will listen what kind of sticks you need for a fire, how to walk around the fire circle and how to make the dragon sneeze!

It’s so lovely to see their satisfaction when they make a spark to light the fire or make something with the tools.

It’s also been a lovely activity for us to do together and I’m sure we’ll both miss it when he starts school.’

‘ I could not recommend Nature tots highly enough it is just superb. I am a mum of 4 and have done Nature Tots for a few years now and Tamara has always kept my son’s interested and kept him engaged in all the activities that are topical for that day. Nature tots, even after doing it for a couple of years is different every session. The activities you do are so inventive and such fun it’s not just my son who enjoys it, I love it!’
