Guided Walk at Old Lodge, Ashdown Forest 

Old Lodge lies within the heart of the Ashdown Forest. It comprises a wide-open landscape of heather and grassland, dotted with gorse, birch, oak and Scots pine. It sits higher than the surrounding West Sussex heaths, giving it a cooler, damper climate more representative of northern upland moors. Join us for a circular walk of approximately 4-5km looking for heathland birds, dragonflies, reptiles and other wildlife. Led by James Duncan. This walk includes some hills (one quite steep).

Refreshments will be provided at all events, but please note you will need to bring your own cup/mug.
