The Wildlife of Dung Thursday, 21st January 2021 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Online talk by Dr Sarah McKenzie
'THE WILDLIFE OF DUNG' Dung is the end product of eating. Some call it ‘waste’ but it is the beginning of life for a variety of fascinating creatures and fungi. Without Minotaurs, Dors and Roundheads we would literally be swimming in it! Discover why cow pats are runny, why elephant droppings can tell you where to camp and why some beetles are a mixture of a bulldozer and a walking wheelbarrow!
Dr Sarah McKenzie is an ecologist and freelance lecturer and tells me that she loves to talk about wildlife to anyone who will listen.
This talk is free but donations to assist the work of Sussex Wildlife Trust would be appreciated. There will be an opportunity to donate at the end of the talk.
You'll receive a reminder email one hour before the start.
