The sound of the spring dawn chorus on our Woods Mill reserve is something you have to experience. It’s certainly worth getting up early for.

This special event is chance to experience the delights of greeting the dawn and hearing the chorus in a Sussex woodland.

We will meet in the Car Park at 4.15, hopefully to the sound of the Nightingale. We will take a slow walk around the reserve as other birds start to wake up and will identify the individual birds as they join the chorus.

We will then make our way back to the classroom between 6.00 - 6.30am for a very welcome continental style breakfast!
