Booth Museum of Natural History event
Join Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Michael Blencowe for a birdwatching walk with a difference in which we’re guaranteed that the birds won’t fly away. This new event is a guided wildlife walk amongst the taxidermy bird specimens of Brighton’s wonderful Booth Museum of Natural History.
On this special tour you’ll learn about bird identification and listen to their songs and calls while Michael tells you their stories.
Alongside the species you’ll find today in Sussex you’ll also hear the sad tale of the extinct Great Auk, the lost song of the Huia and be shocked by the scandal of the ‘Hastings Rarities’. Bring binoculars if you have them!
Venue: Booth Museum of Natural History, 194 Dyke Road, Brighton BN1 5AA
£12, book in advance, limited availability.
You can buy tickets by telephoning the Events Booking line on 03000 290902 (Mon-Fri) or in person at any of our venues. You can also email [email protected]uk if you have any queries.
