Early Birds - Woods Mill, Henfield (31/01/2020) Friday, 31st January 2020 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Leader James Duncan

Join us as we set out to explore Woods Mill in winter, observing and identifying the bird species that inhabit the reserve. This can be a great time of year to observe owls on the hunt, listen to cackling woodpeckers and watch for winter wildfowl. Our morning walk will take us through Woods Mills’ ancient woodland, following its streams and waterways towards the River Adur, into unimproved meadows with wild hedgerows. We’ll search for the creatures that make this world their home. Guided flat walk of approximately 2-3km.

Binoculars are recommended, though we will have a few pairs available on the day.
