Honey Bee for the Non-Beekeeper - Eastbourne 17/10/2019 Thursday, 17th October 2019 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Eastbourne Group Event
Although honey bees are classified as food producing animals they can't be domesticated like other animals can. The "animal" is a colony of individuals that have their own way of ensuring colony survival, whether in a hive or natural nest.
This talk by Beekeeper & Author, Roger Patterson, will give a little insight into the workings of a colony and our understanding of it.
The Victoria Baptist Church, Eldon Road, Eastbourne, BN21 1UE. Full disabled access, toilet facilities and a large free car park adjacent to the Church.
Non-members very welcome.
Charge £3 for SWT members and £4 for non-members. Charge of £1 for tea/coffee and biscuits.
