Wildlife Walk in Friston Forest, nr. Eastbourne (17/7/2019) Wednesday, 17th July 2019 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Leaders:  Michael Blencowe & Nikki Hills

Friston Forest is a relatively ‘young’ forest - it was planted in the middle of the last century. Today the 2000 acre forest and adjoining chalk grassland holds a great diversity of wildlife. Join us for a summer walk along the eastern edge of the forest looking out for birds, butterflies and other wildlife.

Meet in Butchershole Bottom car park on Jevington Road (between East Dean and Jevington, grid ref: TV555994).

Please note there is a charge for this car park (currently £2.30 for up to 4 hours).

No booking required, just turn up.
