Sussex Wildlife Trust is working hard for nature at this challenging time but we can only do so with your support.

Walk - Everyone Welcome - Ardingly Saturday, 13th July 2019 9:45 AM - 3:30 PM

The Walks are led and guided for between 3 and 5 miles in the morning, with an optional, shorter walk after lunch. The pace is steady and allows time to stop and enjoy the wildlife. Sturdy walking boots and outdoor clothing is recommended.

Meet in the car park of the Gardeners Arm pub Selsfield Road, Ardingly, RH17 6TJ (Explorer Map 135 TQ 342307.:https://www.gardenersarmsardin... ). The pub will be open from 9.00 for coffee & use of toilet facilities. Please let the walk leaders know at least a week before the walk if you would like a bacon sandwich before leaving. Orders for lunch will be taken in the pub ahead of our departure.

We will leave at 9.45 for the mainly, easy morning walk of around three miles: our route takes us to the norther perimeter of Ardingly reservoir before entering Wakehurst Place at the back of Millennium Seed Bank. We return to the pub for lunch around 12.30.

For the afternoon walk, we take a sort drive (about two miles) to the Activity Centre car park ( post code RH17 6SQ) by the Reservoir. The walk will be based on the Kingfisher Trail and we should see a good variety of birds. The walk can be as long or as short as individuals want it to be.

Do join our leaders Dev and Dipti for either the morning, afternoon or both walks. Contact details: 07514 195858 or 07754 394290.
